=== Next to the addition of features, a number of known issues from the earlier firmware version have been resolved ===

  • Desktop App tended to connect to the Wi-Fi of the Base Unit instead of the wired network connection.
  • An updated Desktop App is available on the Button which includes several bug-fixes and experience improvements.
  • Suboptimal Video performance when using Buttons on 2.4 GHz in Stand Alone mode.
  • Base Unit became unresponsive when the meeting room name exceeded 24 characters (CN and NA models only).
  • Base Unit did not wake from networked standby when a Button was connecting.
  • Uploading a full backup in the ClickShare Configurator of a previous version was failing due to missing parameters.
  • Prevented a temporary DoS on the REST interface.
  • Re-generating the self-signed certificate for HTTPS resulted in an error page.
  • When changing security levels, the settings were immediately applied without asking confirmation.
  • In some occasions, during the configuration of Buttons Connect To, some settings were not applied correctly.

=== Not all issues could be resolved yet, these are the ones that are remaining in this release ===

    • Only thing left, in the ClickShare Configurator, make sure the screensaver is selected to use the input and after what time it should activate. Done!

=== Next to the addition of features, a number of known issues from the earlier firmware version have been resolved ===

  • Low audio levels on jack. To resolve, a factory reset is required after upgrading.
  • Some services like Airplay were not available in Wi-Fi client mode
  • In some occasions an authentication failure was noticed with network integration due to lost settings
  • After intermittent upgrades, the unit was sometimes not manageable anymore by XMS
  • Chinese characters entered as meeting room name were not reflected in the mobile app
  • Mitigated security reports include CVE-2019-18827, CVE-2019-18830, CVE-2019-18831, CVE-2019-18826 and CVE-2019-18828

=== Important notes to consider before upgrading ===

  • Guidance with regards to the new and updated integration options can be found in our Network Integration Guide and the respective product manuals.
  • This update is a minimal version and does not allow downgrading to any version below v01.09.01 after installation.

v1.8.1.2

=== A number of issues from the earlier firmware version has been resolved ===

  • The 1.8.1 firmware introduces a solution to an issue that was introduced in the 1.8 firmware by which it was impossible to upload a certificate via the ClickShare Configurator.
  • Note: the issue could only be encountered when doing a new configuration with manual certificate upload with 802.1x wired authentication or when doing a reconfiguration.

  • Configuring 802.1x with EAP and manual certificate upload results in "Please enter a value with a valid mimetype".

=== Important notes to consider before upgrading ===

  • This firmware introduces a mechanism for the auto renewal of (self-signed) certificates when they are expired. The user will not notice anything from this process.
  • As from the 1.8 firmware version, support for older Buttons without certificate (article number R9861006D01) is dropped on CS-100 (Huddle), CSE-200, CSE-200+ and CSE-800 models.
  • Support for MirrorOp has been dropped and we advise to work with the ClickShare apps.
  • For the Windows driver for ClickShare to detect the Button, they require an update. This will go automatically via update over Wi-Fi. Alternatively they can be paired and updated manually by plugging the Buttons into the respective Base Unit. More information can also be found on https://www.barco.com/en/support/knowledge-base/KB9619
  • Guidance with regards to the new and updated integration options can be found in our Network Integration Guide and the respective product manuals.

v1.8.0.6

ClickShare is adding a set of important features to its portfolio. The new functionalities will improve both the user experience as well as the ClickShare IT friendliness

=== The main features this release includes ===

  • To remove the need for a dedicated network drop in the meeting room, we introduce the wireless client mode for the CSE-200+, allowing to connect or integrate the Base Unit into the corporate network via Wi-Fi.
  • With dual network support, we make network integration for BYOD a breeze. Dual network allows to simultaneously connect the unit to two different networks, one via Ethernet and one via Wi-Fi.
  • Custom Button Integration allows for greater flexibility when integrating your ClickShare devices by giving you full control over both the Button connection and the wireless settings of the Base Unit separately. This allows to enable presence detection for the ClickShare desktop App when the Button is fully integrated in the corporate network and to support direct connectivity for guests or BYOD.
  • For better integration in your corporate network, 5GHz DFS channels are now available when integrating the Button paired with the CSE-200+ in the corporate network. (EU version only).
  • Miracast R2 functionality providing an additional way of BYOD content sharing.
  • Windows driver support for the ClickShare Button on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. The Windows driver removes the last hurdle in the ClickShare Button experience by removing any need for manual action before sharing. The Windows driver automatically launches the ClickShare Client on the Button, allowing to click the button without any user action. The Windows pc will automatically download the driver from the Windows Update store upon first insertion of the ClickShare Button (internet connection required).
  • Prevent laptop going to standby when a Button is sharing content to the Base Unit for an improved experience during presentations.

=== Next to the addition of features, a number of known issues from the earlier firmware version has been resolved ===

  • In certain instances, the internal Wi-Fi module became unavailable and required a reboot of the Base Unit.
  • HDMI input discolouration issue has been fully resolved via this update.

=== Important notes to consider before upgrading ===

  • This firmware introduces a mechanism for the auto renewal of (self-signed) certificates when they are expired. The user will not notice anything from this process.
  • As from the 1.8 firmware version, support for older Buttons without certificate (article number R9861006D01) is dropped on CS-100 (Huddle), CSE-200, CSE-200+ and CSE-800 models.

v1.7.1.1

===What is new===

  • This firmware improves the experience of our customer base that is increasingly making use of the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band.

    • The 5 GHz band is now preferred over the 2.4 GHz band by the ClickShare Button in network integration mode in case an SSID is present on both bands with similar quality levels.
    • Moreover, the scanning behavior in the 2.4 GHz range has been improved to make sure the Buttons connect to the most optimal access points in network integration mode.

v1.7.0.22

===What is new===

  • With this major firmware release, ClickShare is adding a set of IT friendly features to the current models, making the products a perfect fit to any enterprise environment.
  • The main features this release includes are:

    • Support for SNMPv3 for monitoring Base Units and Buttons with your default monitoring software
    • Support for custom certificates for https, avoiding privacy alerts when browsing to the ClickShare configuration page
    • Support for 802.1x wired authentication including PEAP, EAP-TLS and EAP-TTLS
    • Support for multiroot certificates to comply with certificate chaining IT architectures
    • Support for the ClickShare App with presence detection via Wi-Fi beaconing

===What did we fix===

  • Next to additional features, the ClickShare team has been working hard to resolve a couple of known issues:

    • When enabling network integration, it is now possible to use slash or backslash in your identity or password

===Important note===

  • The 01.07.0022 firmware is a minimal version, which means that downgrading from this firmware to previous versions is not possible.
